- Plan, implement, and oversee overall accounting strategy.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, and unit revenue and expenditure.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data.
- Regularly prepare financial reports or statements.
- Perform and oversee annual audits.
- Meet financial accounting objectives.
- Oversee daily accounting activities.
- Supervise and review staff work (cash/bank reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable, etc.).
- Maintain detailed financial records and files.
- Review the general ledger for accurate postings.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions and reports.
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Support budget and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency.
